People in 17 Deregulated states get to choose who their energy supplier is. Maryland is one of those states. Nothing Changes with their bill and they get a lower rate. North American Power is one of those companies. They currently operate in BGE/PEPCO for the residential markets in Maryland and in all utilities regions for the commercial markets.

The sign up process take about 5 minutes and you have options for 25%, 50%, or 100% Green Energy. A BGE customer could have 100% Green Energy for .1058 cents per kWh at the current time or the low rate of .0939 cents per kWh.
